Hooray! Cleared to travel with some limitations. I'll take that! If we are driving we'll have to stop every hour for me to walk but I'll gladly do that in order to get where I'm going! Flying will probably require me to choose an aisle seat :( (window is my favorite)but at least I can get up for the rest room for my walk without bothering anyone else. lol
Where do we start? Luke has been asking to see Gran, I'd like to get out to Maine and Vermont. California has been on all of our minds. The "other daughter" (Britt) is in Denver and the "she's family, daughter" (Tes) is heading there too. Miss seeing Britt and will miss seeing Tes hanging around so will have to get out there with Rae, somehow. Hmmm... decision, decisions! We're going to start small and work our way up. Gran's will be our first trip. Can't wait to enjoy some downtime with my mom :)
All of us have travels we treasure. We travel to go home, visit family/friends, vacation, sight-see, find Faith or for no reason at all. I created this blog to share my travels with family and friends. The blog starts with World Youth Day in Madrid 2011 and will continue forward as new and exciting journeys are made. God Bless you in your own travels and as you follow me & those I travel with in ours.

Well, the game plan for this weekend to travel to my mother's with Rachel and Luke has been thwarted. We are resolved to hang around where we are getting many things done. We will be ready for Spring!! Then let our traveling to places near and far begin. Please Mr. Sun we are awaiting for brighter, warmer days!!!

Mark and I had a wonderful time with 15 of the Petrella family on our very first CRUISE! Yes, it was Carnival, Ecstasy. No problems. We ported in Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas as well as Key West, Florida. This a a replica of the original chapel in The Garden of the Grove in Freeport.
We enjoyed a day with Mark's mom, Mille
(who turned 83 the week before), Louie and John.
We loved Key West the best and hope to visit again for several days so we can take it all in. 6hrs was not long enough.
Our Porter and Wait staff were truly amazing. All the details always attended to. Loved coming in at night to find out what they folded our towels/washcloths into next...
I'm ready to go again and looking at the next possibility! Maybe a 4-5 day out of Boston up to Canada? Might be great whale watching. Mark might wait a few years though. Not seasick but felt like he was on the ship for about a week after we arrived home.
