Trinity baking... yummy!!!
All of us have travels we treasure. We travel to go home, visit family/friends, vacation, sight-see, find Faith or for no reason at all. I created this blog to share my travels with family and friends. The blog starts with World Youth Day in Madrid 2011 and will continue forward as new and exciting journeys are made. God Bless you in your own travels and as you follow me & those I travel with in ours.

Where has the time gone...
Just over a year ago Luke and I traveled to Spain and France for World Youth Day. What an amazing journey. Barcelona, Montserrat, Manresa, Lourdes (France), Burgos, Segovia, San Sebastian, Madrid and Avila. Did I miss any? Phew!! All in 14 days! We saw really cool places like the Grotto in Lourdes, France where we partook in the bathes. The cave St. Ignatius prayed in for twenty years and the crosses he craved in the stone. Masses in crypts that are usually closed to the public. The aqueduct in Segovia and walk in the steps of St. James. The walled city on Avila. We really walked on the top of the wall which is still intact! The best part? Mass with Pope Benedict XVI at the JMJ (WYD) mass.
Thank you all who helped us get there. Even after a year it seems like yesterday. Great memories...
Long time...
I realized, after reading a friend's Blog, that is has been a very long time since I have posted. Wow! Months!
Lots of things happened this past summer...
Spent time with family and friends enjoying the nice weather. We didn't do too much traveling but stuck closer to home. Mark's brother Lou visited for 2 weeks and we had fun while he was here. Rachel, Luke, Lou and I went to Mackenzie Childs in Aurora to poke around. Amazing! Beautiful!! Expensive!
Wine cruise was my highlight. Spending time with family on the lake and visiting a couple of wineries too. What could be better?
